Journey on the spice road...

After about three decades of culinary experience and a decade of conducting cooking classes I decided to take a break from the many flavors in the kitchen and immersed myself in the world of textiles. I pursued my dream of opening a boutique and was content with the creativity and buzz surrounding my life. 

I am not sure if it was the late hours at work or my daughter's desire to cook tasty food in a jiffy which led me to create ready mix of spices for my dishes without the hassle of opening ther individual spice boxes. It not only saved time but also gave the fresh aroma of ground spices blending together specific to the requirements of every dish. 
My daughter often exclaims 'Thanks to your spice mix mom, I no longer have to open my recipe book before cooking lest I forget a key ingredient'.
